Katherine J. (Kushpinsky) Brewer

Katherine J. (Kushpinsky) Brewer, 82, passed away peacefully at Oakgrove Center in Waterville, ME. Tuesday May 20, 2025.

  Kathy was born in Derby, CT, on January 15, 1943, the daughter of Harry and Esther (Kukiel) Kushpinsky. She attended Derby and Ansonia schools and Mattituck Community College where she received her C.N.A certificate. 

  Kathy was a C.N.A for over 40 years. She loved crafting and raised her three children in Waterbury, CT. There was nothing that she would not do for any of them. 

  She was pre deceased by her parents, her brothers Fredrick, Harry, and Ron Kushpinsky and her beloved grandson Daniel M. Parenteau.

  She was survived by her daughter Lisa and husband Mark Soucy and twins Deanna Parenteau-companion Dan, Dennis and wife Rainy Brewer, granddaughter Nicole Hamilton, grandsons Barry Hamilton Jr, Bobby Parenteau -companion Katrina, Joshua and wife Lauren Parenteau and great grandson Ryan Parenteau. Step grandchildren Luke and Larissa Lloyd and Roman Soucy.

  A gravesite service will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery in Derby, CT.
